Oral Sedation

This is the use of oral medicine (Tablets) to provide you with relaxation prior to, and during the procedure. Local anaesthetic is also used to numb the area. Be aware that after your consultation the medicine will require one hour to work prior to surgery. You will not be able to drive after the procedure and it is necessary that you bring a carer with you if this agent is utilised.
